Whether your kiddo grows to fast and legs are too long for footed pjs or, like in this case, they just don’t like the feeling of them, this is a great solution to footed pjs. Also by creating slippers there’s no waste!
I was asked if I could remove the feet from some kids PJs and replace them with cuffs instead. No problem! When I started chopping of the adorable pj feet I got an idea , if I’m adding a cuff to the legs of the pjs, why not add a cuff to the foot part as well and make some cute matching slippers.

Car seat poncho made to keep a little one warm in the car. How cute is this fabric! It’s so incredibly soft too. This poncho features a zipper for easy access to car seat buckles.
One of my favourite things I made for the holidays was this unicorn cape for a little girly who loves dressing up. It was something fun and new to make! I love how it turned out! 💕
The pattern is a @rebeccajpage pattern. Sewing the yarn mane was actually very simple and done by sandwiching all the yarn between 2 lengths of ribbon. I had fun mixing and matching different sparkly fabrics from my stash. Sewn with love with lots of hours of play time in its future!
Emergency surgery on Mr. Monkey! He had a rip in his leg and was loosing stuffing fast! I stuffed and stitched him up and now he’s as good as new. It was so heart warming seeing the look on the little boys face when he saw his monkey all fixed up.
This past summer it was requested by 3 different new moms who were in their friends weddings to have their bridesmaid dresses altered so that they could easily feed their baby’s during the day. This alteration has to be done a little different on every dress but turned out successful on each one. On the dress below, the shoulders needed to be taken up so I was able to add 5 snaps on each for a secure yet easy way to open up the dress for breastfeeding.
These baby blankets may look simple but the significance behind them is what is special. The lace that borders these blankets is from the wedding dress of the grandmother, she passed away before ever getting to meet her grandchildren. These 3 incredibly soft baby blankets were made as a surprise gift for her children by a dear friend. I was told these blankets brought tears to their eyes and will be cherished forever. Whenever the baby's are wrapped in these blankets it's like a warm hug from grandma.
